9201 Balloon Museum Dr NE
Albuquerque, New Mexico
The city of Albuquerque commissioned us to design a new weather exhibit for the Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum. The design consisted of a new layout with an emphasis on 4 interactive “pods” that were each inspired by types of weather; wind, precipitation, clouds, and the sun. Using Rhino, Grasshopper, Maya, and AutoCAD, the team was then able to refine the design, prototype, and build each installation in-house.
As part of a small, 4-person team, we executed every phase of the design proccess from Conception and Ideation to Construction Documents and Fabrication.
